1. Organic milk is better than regular milk

Shocked to hear that? Well, no need to worry, as it is also a myth. It is a totally baseless and senseless myth because there is no relation between kidney stone and milk. Rather, drinking milk may help you to avoid kidney stone.

Actually no, it isn’t . The concept of toned milk is nothing but giving a relatively low fat containing milk. Toned milk isn’t very healthy because it takes away the fats required for development of our body.

4. Carton milk is synthetic

One would easily believe it but this is nowhere near to truth. Rather carton milk is completely different from synthetic milk. It tastes different because the fodder given to cows which produce this milk is free of bacteria and has high nutritional value.

5. There are preservatives in packaged milk

As per the laws of our country, if any package of milk is found to have preservatives in it then it will be barred from reaching the market. The packaged milk which is available in tetra-pack is treated with UHT(ultra heat technique) which ensures that there are no bacteria left in it. This increases it’s shelf life. So, there is no preservative in the packaged milk.

6. Drinking milk causes early puberty

This is also a bizarre statement which has no scientific backing. Drinking too much milk does not have any link with puberty. Children should drink milk because they are at growing stage and need all those vital nutrition which milk provides.

7. Don’t drink milk if you are lactose intolerant

Well, you can have milk even if you are lactose intolerant. Lactose free milk is available in market and it doesn’t change the value of milk and it also tastes same. It is scientifically proven that lactose intolerant milk gives you all those benefits which normal milk does.

8. You need to boil packaged milk

Well, it is not at all required. The sterilized packaging involves transferring the treated milk into aseptic packages which prevents any bacterial activity. Thus the milk isn’t contaminated and it can be consumed without boiling.

9. Milk has antibiotics

Oh please! This is not at all true. Sometimes, sick cows can be given antibiotics but their milk isn’t allowed to mix with the normal milk. As per the law, if any milk is tested positive for antibiotics then it will eventually be dumped and will not be allowed under any circumstances to reach the market.
