Pakistan ‘Coke Studio’ is quite famous for its studio-recorded music performances by various artists. Since June 2008, when ‘Coke Studio’ produced its first episode it has given us many memorable tracks.

Momina Mustehsan is the new sensation in ‘Coke Studio’, with her song ‘Afreen Afreen’ which she sang with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. The duo took the hit number by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan to another level.

1. Momina Mustehsan is a Pakistani singer and songwriter

2. Momina is 23 years old and lives in New York city

3. Momina Mustehsan is an engineer and a mathematician by profession. She had attended her grade school in New York City

4. At first she learned to play violin

6. In 2004, she recorded her first cover of Irish singer  Damien Rice’s song “The Blower’s Daughter”, for which she was highly praised

7. At th 20th anniversary of Junoon’s band Mustehsan recorded ‘Sajna’ for their album Junoon 20

8. In 2014 Mustehsan recorded a song ‘Awari’ for Pakistani bank Soch

9. Before recording she was not told by Soch for which project they are recording the ‘Awari’. Later the song was used in the Bollywood movie Ek Villain

11. In 2015 she featured in 3rd episode of Nescafe Basement season 3 where Momina re-sung ‘Pee Jaun’

12. Momina became famous in Pakistan with her duet song ‘Pee Janun’ with Farhan Saeed

13. In 2016, Momina recorded her first song ‘Zindagi Kitni Haseen Hai‘ for a Pakistani film
